Police in Elkhart are looking for the person they believe crashed into the Bendix Restaurant on Bristol Street, then took off.

The collision happened around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

The driver caused damage to a door and part of the wall on the east side of the restaurant.
