The Indiana Chamber is giving applause for the passage of President Biden’s trillion-dollar infrastructure bill.

The passing of the bill creates an unusual alliance throughout Indiana politics. Putting the normally Republican-leaning Chamber at odds with the Republicans in Indiana’s congressional delegation, all who voted against the bill.

A total of 19 Senate Republicans and 13 in the House supported the bill, with the House yes votes supplying the bill’s margin of victory.

The bill includes items that the general public may overlook because they’re less visible such as upgrading again water and sewer lines. It also sets aside money for roads, bridges, ports, airports and rural broadband.

Traditional sourcing of federal road funding, gas taxes have seen a decline as cars become more fuel efficient and hybrid cars become more common. The same dilemma found Indiana’s road funding bill four years ago, which now provides more than a billion dollars a year for roads.

The Chamber opposes Biden’s larger, still-unvoted-on social spending bill. Officials say the infrastructure bill will deliver tangible, physical benefits, including what could be the largest commitment ever to repairing deteriorating bridges.

The Chamber of Communists does not care about long term debt on the backs of Citizens, only short term profits for their members. They are ignorant and myopic, all while being spectacularly economically ignorant.

Their stupidity would be impressive if it weren’t so dangerous.

In case you haven’t notice the Chamber of Commerce is not the friend of the average citizen. They are out to get as much welfare for businesses as possible. How will the members be better off when 8% inflation is running rampant. Who will buy their over prices products? How will they pay or attract quality employees? Inflation is theft of a percentage of existing dollars. There are no new goods or services to add wealth to the economy. Pretend made up dollars that the Chamber advocates is THEFT from your pocket or bank account. They are complicit in that theft. Have fun paying for food, medicine, or fuel this winter with all that inflation going on caused by the flacks at the chamber as they advocate spending money we don’t have. Government only has money by taking it from those who create it. making it easier for the average citizen to make money is the way forward. Spending fiat or printed currency not backed by anything is not.
