17-year-old boy was shot in Elkhart

A 17-year-old boy was shot in Elkhart.

Police were called around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, to the 900 block of Princeton Boulevard, near Middlebury Street, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

First aid was administered on site and the teen was taken to the hospital with the apparent non-life-threatening injury.

Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle leaving the scene, but, so far, so suspects or arrests have been announced.
