Aligned with Hannah’s House efforts in promoting personal improvement is keynote speaker Brooks, who has carved out success on and off the field. A former member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins, Brooks rushed for 1,372 yards as a tailback during his 1992 senior season at Notre Dame, where he earned second-team All-American status and finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting. Brooks now aids in generating community support as executive director of Holtz’s Heroes Foundation. The nonprofit is committed to preserving and imparting the legacy of former University of Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz and his players.
