Man shot to death on Diamond Avenue in South Bend identified

The man who died in a shooting in the 1000 block of Diamond Avenue has been identified.

Officers arrived just before 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, to find Terrance Cannon, Sr., 40,  suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Despite attempts by medics, Cannon was pronounced dead at the scene.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is handling the investigation and has interviewed several individuals. So far, there is no word of any suspects or arrests.
