Goshen man accused of burglarizing St. Mark’s United Methodist Church

A Goshen man is accused of burglarizing St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

It was around 10:00 p.m. on the evening of Feb. 7, when police say 57-year-old Bobby Cliett broke into the church and stole sausages and lunch meat from the refrigerator, and a video game console.

Police ID’d Cliett from surveillance footage.

The Elkhart Truth reports armed with a search warrant, investigators say they found clothing in Cliett’s home that matched what was seen on the suspect on the video, as well as the meat items in his freezer, though Cliett denied being at the church.
