Benton Harbor man allegedly clocked at 111 mph in Indiana

A Benton Harbor man has been arrested after being stopped for allegedly driving 111 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour zone.

It was Wednesday morning when an Indiana State Police trooper in Fulton County stopped a 2017 Ford Fusion on U.S. 31 near S.R. 14. The trooper talked to the driver and suspected criminal activity afoot. With that, investigators found guns, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, 20-year-old Corey Bland Jr., was taken to the Fulton County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of a handgun after being deemed a serious violent felon.

Bland was also issued a citation for driving 111 miles per hour in the 60 one and for driving without ever receiving a license.
