Missing Berrien Springs woman found in St. Joseph River

A missing Berrien Springs woman has been found in the St. Joseph River.

The Michigan State Police say 22 year-old Sithembile Dube was discovered in the river around 8 p.m. Sunday night.

She was reported missing on April 2nd after her vehicle was found abandoned. A Michigan State Police dive team was searching the river off U.S. 31 near Snow Road in Oronoko Township.

Foul play is not suspected and the investigation is still open while the medical examiner and prosecutor’s office review the case.
