This week, the South Bend Cubs are putting the final preparations together for Opening Night 2022 Friday at Four Winds Field.

They plan to do so with quite the celebration, starting with the pregame. Fans can enjoy a performance by Grooveheads and axe throwing by Generation Adventure-Plex.

The first 2,000 fans through the gates will get a 2022 South Bend Cubs magnet schedule.

Before the game, hear Chicago Cubs’ John Vincent perform the National Anthem.

Then after the game, stick around for the first Fantastic Friday Firework of the year.

The South Bend Cubs will take on the Quad Cities River Bandits at 7:05 p.m. inside Four Winds Field.
