Elkhart man, 37, injured after colliding with utility poles off of County Road 4

Elkhart County Police are investigating a possible OWI-related crash.

It happened around 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 17, on County Road 4, west of County Road 13.

Deputies say a 37-year-old Elkhart man was traveling westbound when he crossed the center line, ran off the road and struck two utility poles.

The driver suffered lacerations to his hand and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
