Governor Holcomb, against new rules for charter schools

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is now on the record against new rules for charter schools from the Biden Administration.

The governor signed a letter along with 17 other Republican governors asking the U.S. Department of Education to wait to enforce the new rules.

The governors say the changes, which include a requirement for charter schools to prove that a traditionally public school district is ‘over-enrolled,’ will eliminate states’ abilities to do what’s best for their kids.

The letter says the new rules would hurt minority and low income students who are already enrolled in charter schools.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. The Teachers Unions see your kids as THEIR kids. They think they own them. Rather they are hired to teach our kids. If they want to ruin education for everyone take your kids home to school them or enroll them in a private school. You have a voucher in Indiana. USE IT! Deprive the failing public schools and the teachers unions of your funds as much as possible. IF they call you a terrorist, then use your power to terrorize them out of a job.
