Children in Indiana were being groomed to send a man in California videos of themselves performing sexual acts, say police in Sacramento.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested Demetrius Davis in December, and says 11 of his victims were from Indiana.

WISH-TV reports Davis is suspected of trying to get videos from children across the country. More than 80 victims have been identified by police.

Davis was arrested after deputies got a tip about an online account that was uploading child pornography.

When Davis’ home was searched, police say they found child pornography on his devices.

Police say Davis created a fake online persona named “Lizzie”, then used that persona on several accounts to try and convince kids to send him explicit videos.
