It was a dangerous weekend on area roads.

A Royalton Township woman in a wheelchair was killed when she was struck by a vehicle. Police say 39-year-old Emily Rudman was trying to cross M-139 at Scottdale Road when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The St. Joseph County Fact Team is investigating a crash that happened near the intersection of Miami and Kern Roads. Police were called around 1:15, Sunday afternoon. Four people were inside one vehicle. They, along with the driver of the other car were hospitalized.

A man died after a two car crash in Marshall County. It happened late Saturday morning at North Sycamore and West 3-B roads. Investigators say 59-year-old Douglas Swanson failed to stop at the intersection and was hit be another vehicle. He died while en route to the hospital.
