65-year sentence handed to Troyon Scott for 2020 murder

It’s 65 years in prison for the man accused in a January 2020 murder in South Bend.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office says the judge in the case sentenced 22 year-old Troyon Scott of South Bend to a total of 65 years in prison for the murder of 28 year-old Huey Hudson.

Scott was found guilty last month of the January 26th 2020 murder, and of a firearm enhancement. The shooting took place at the victim’s home on South Liberty Street.

Scott was given 45 years for the murder charge, and 20 for the firearm enhancement, to be served concurrently.
