The Quilt Gardens is celebrating its 15th anniversary with the addition of Seward Johnson sculptures at each site plus eight other locations in Elkhart County’s downtown areas.

More than 200 volunteers began planting Quilt Gardens, last week, and are still planting this week. The Quilt Gardens officially opens for public viewing on Monday, May 30.

In all, more than a million blooms and more than two dozen sculptures will grace Elkhart County in Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, Bristol, Middlebury, Millersburg and Wakarusa.

Seward Johnson’s works were last seen, locally, in 2017.
