UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled for boy, 14, missing from Osceola

UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been canceled. On June 1, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Jalen Winfield was located and determined to be safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of Jalen Winfield, 14.

Police describe him as black, 5′ 3″ tall, 116 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a glow in the dark skull and camo pants with black shoes.

Jalen is missing from Osceola and was last seen on around 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Anybody with information on Winfield’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Elkhart County Public Safety Communications Center at 574-533-4151 or 911.
