A repeating traffic violator was arrested for leading police on a chase in South Bend

An officer was driving near Lincolnway and Sherman.

That’s where he says he saw a car driving at a high speed, ignoring a stop sign.

ABC 57 News reports that the officer turned on his lights, and began to follow the car, ending at an ally.

The driver, Jessie Magallon, allegedly got out of the car and ran off.

Magallon was later taken into custody, after he fell into a bush.

He had been suspended for being a habitual traffic violator.
