A South Bend police officer is suspended for unsafe driving, during a police chase on May 22.
The officer, Lauren Slisher, was given a six-day, unpaid suspension.
Officials say that Slisher passed a vehicle at an excessive speed and disregarded traffic signs for a police chase on North Ironwood Drive and Edison Road.
The South Bend Tribune reports that the chase lasted less than a minute.
Police Chief, Scott Ruszkowshi, says Slisher had been involved in similar instance since she was hired in June 2021.

So…if the police have to follow standard traffic procedures (ignoring the whole flashing lights and siren thing that’s supposed to give them a pass) how will they ever catch the criminal breaking all those laws in the first place?
While the officer given a six-day, unpaid suspension, the criminal when caught will be awarded2 points on his/ her drivers license.
I guess we now know that criminals rank above minority females on the left’s victim heirarchy.
Im impressed they made any effort at all to pull over someone. Im shocked. I see speeders, reckless driving on almost a daily basis and never see a police car anywhere….. I suspect the bad guy she was chasing was even more shocked!
She could check my pockets any day 😂
