A homeless man pleaded guilty to breaking into the home of a family member.

It happened on March 19, at a home on Bertrand Road in Milton Township.

Police were called on reports of a stabbing.

That’s when they found 41-year-old Jonathan Wilkens.

Leader Publications reports that Wilkens had gone to the same home a month earlier, where he threatened his mother.

He pleaded guilty to home invasion and was sentenced to two years probation, 300 days in jail with credit for 189 days served, and and $1,548 in fines.
