Teenager injured after Sunday shooting in Mishawaka

A teenager was injured after a shooting in Mishawaka.

It happened on Sunday, October 9, at 8:10 p.m., when police were called to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center on reports of a gunshot victim.

When they arrived, they found the 17-year-old victim, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim was released from the hospital.

Officials say that the shooting happened at a house in the 54000 block of Fir Road, after an argument between the victim and the 19-year-old suspect.

Police say that they are still searching for the suspect.
