A convicted sex offender in Plymouth was arrested Monday after he failed to register himself.

Robert Lee Perez Jr. is a registered sex offender who was convicted of child molestation in Fulton County.

He is required to register every year and any time he changes his residence or employment within 72 hours of the change.

He had moved to an address on North Michigan Street in Plymouth in March but was still registered as a resident of Monterey, Indiana.

Officials say Perez has four prior convictions for failure to register.
