Officials address claims of Electioneering in Michiana

There were allegations of “Electioneering” in Michiana on Tuesday.

The election board defines that as a person wearing or saying something that show support or opposition to a candidate or political party.

Some felt that an election judge wearing a MAGA hat at a polling place was showing support, but the phrase and the hat are legal and allowed. The same would have been true of a hat that said “I’m With Her,” another phrase that’s not specifically against the rules.
