A driver led police on a chase in Plymouth.

It happened early Saturday, December 10, around 2:15 a.m. when police say that they saw a truck run a red light at the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson Streets.

ABC 57 News reports that the truck continued west on Jefferson, disregarding another red light on Center Street and refusing to stop for police.

The driver, Edgar Trevino, later pulled over on West Garro Street, south of West Washington Street, but refused to open the door.

Officials say that Trevino’s blood alcohol level was more than two time the legal limit.

He was taken into custody on charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, endangerment and reckless driving.
