Elkhart police investigating shot fired into child’s bedroom

Elkhart Police are investigating a report of gunfire that entered the bedroom of a sleeping child.

Officers responded to a report of a fight on Middlebury Street shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, and another call came in just up the road at another residence claiming shots were fired at a home.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made, though the investigation is ongoing.
