Senator Braun says costs associated with ‘Farm Bill’ will further hurt federal budget

(provided by his Senate office)
Indiana Senator Mike Braun says it’s been too long since the federal government has had a proper, balanced budget.
Senator Braun says the costs associated with the current “Farm Bill” will further hurt the federal budget.
The “Farm Bill” is passed every five years by Congress and sets new policies dealing with national agriculture, nutrition, conservation, and forestry. Braun says the current bill could push over one-trillion-dollars.
He says the United States will never be able to get ahead on it’s budget when Congress continues to borrow from future generations.

Farmers don’t need subsidies, they need the government to get out of their way and let them grow food. What a novel concept!
