A new recruiting campaign in Southwest Michigan is being used to attract applicants to work for the Michigan State Police Department.

They’re calling it the “Live Local, Serve Local” campaign.

It emphasizes the fact that applicants do not have to relocate in order to serve as a state trooper.

They want potential applicants to know that they are able to serve right in their own hometown.

Nine new billboards will be up with the new tagline, “Live Local, Serve Local” displayed.
