An 18-year-old woman from New Paris was hurt when the car she was driving went off of U.S. 6 and down an embankment.
The collision happened around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, near the County Road 29 underpass about one-and-a-half miles north of Syracuse.
The woman was traveling westbound when she went left of center, then overcorrected, which caused her to off the road, hit a utility pole, then go down the embankment.
She was taken to the hospital for a possible broken leg.
A 17-year-old girl from Leesburg who was riding in the car suffered neck pain.
