We’re talking about the statue of Madeline Bertrand that was stolen from Madeline Bertrand County Park in mid-March.

The statue reappeared, late Saturday night, propped up against the base of her pedestal.

ABC 57 News reports the legs of the statue were severed from the base when it was stolen.

The three-foot bronze statue The statue depicts what Bertrand is believed to have looked like during her younger years.

The statue was first installed in the park back in the 1980’s.
