South Bend man, 39, arrested in Goshen for child solicitation, resisting, battery to an officer

A South Bend man has been arrested on preliminary charges of child solicitation.

It was around 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, when police in Goshen were called to the 100 block of Chicago Avenue.

According to the police report, Domenick R Butler, 39, was found to be soliciting a juvenile female after an investigation was completed.

Domenick later resisted law enforcement after being placed into custody along with battering a police officer, the police report stated.

The officer did not need medical attention for this incident.

Domenick also caused damage to the police vehicle in which he was taken to the Elkhart County Jail where he was incarcerated for child solicitation, battery on a police officer, resisting law enforcement, and criminal mischief, according to the report.
