A 22-year-old Benton Harbor man has been arrested in connection with a deadly arson fire that happened earlier this year.

The blaze happened in early March at a home in the 1200 block of Coolidge Avenue.

Crews found Wendell Hill, 65, dead, inside the home.

Investigators deemed the house fire “suspicious” and investigated Coolidge’s death as a homicide. Weeks later, the fire was determined to be arson.

Now, Benton Township Police., the FBI and several other agencies worked together to arrest the suspect, 22-year-old Raymond Bogucki, according to WNDU.

He’s been booked into the Berrien County Jail on charges of open murder, felony murder and arson.
