A man was arrested after police say he fired a gun at a campground, because people were being too loud.
Officers were called to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park on July 3 just before 3:25 a.m., on reports of a gun being fired.
When they arrived, they found 68-year-old Craig Topel, who told officials that people on the campground were disturbing his peace and that he was tired of the noise and just wanted to sleep.
WNDU reports that’s when Topel fired one round into the grass to scare people.
He was booked into the Marshall County Jail for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Doofus! What did he expect on the Independence Day weekend??? Silence?? Fireworks near me kept our dog from going outside to do his business but I didn’t go out and fire off rounds to show my displeasure. I let him out at 2:00 when the drunks had finally gone to bed. The 4th weekend is a blessing and a curse especially when others do not respect their neighbors.
Going to a packed campground and expecting separation from the rest of noisy humanity…fail…
