Federal money is being poured into updating roads, bridges and transit systems, and jobs are everywhere. But which states are the best for contractors?

The company Rick Strategies reviewed OSHA data and analyzed Google Trends searches to see where the most demand is and to learn more about contractor safety.

Their study shows Indiana ranks 4th for best states for contractors and 3rd for best state for electricians.

It also ranks 17th for the least amount of contractor OSHA-reported injuries per capita. And when it comes to finding a contractor for a job, folks go online. The Hoosier State ranks 9th for the most searches for “contractors near me.”
