Teachers can soon catch a free ride on the South Shore Line.

It’s their way of saying thank you to educators for their hard work.

Educators can present a valid school ID to ride on any off-peak weekday and all weekend trains from July 24 through 30.

You can also take advantage of their Kids Ride Free Program which allows three children up to age 13 to ride free with each paying parent or guardian.

The South Shore Line has updated their website with more information.
