Goshen man injured after his motorcycle hit a fallen tree in Cass County

A Goshen man was injured after his motorcycle hit a fallen tree.

The collision happened just before 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, on Kessington Road near Guyer Street. in Cass County’s Mason Township.

The investigation indicates that the 34-year-old motorcyclist was driving south on Kessington Road. and struck a downed tree blocking the roadway.

The Goshen man was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Police say he was not wearing a helmet. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
