Motorcyclist injured after crash on US 12

A 22-year-old Union man was injured when he crashed into a truck on U.S. 12.

Officers were called to the incident near five points road just after 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says that the motorcyclist was traveling fast along the road when he hit a truck that was turning into a driveway.

They say that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was airlifted to the hospital. The driver of the truck was not injured.
