Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch is concerned about the proposed ABA therapy reimbursement rate.

Crouch sent a message to the FSSA about the proposed decrease, saying that if it goes into effect, therapists and kids may face devastating consequences.

According to Crouch, many providers have told her that the proposal is too steep of a cut and that she wants to see it taken to the bargaining table.

State Representative Craig Haggard said he is glad Crouch sent the letter, stating that his son received ABA therapy and that if the proposed rate is approved, most families won’t be able to afford it.

The letter is currently being reviewed by the FSSA.
