A new comedy club and speakeasy lounge opens this week in Niles.
The comedy club is called the “Underground Laugh Lounge.”
The speakeasy is called “The Study.” Both are located at 321 Main Street in downtown Niles. City and state officials will be there, Thursday night, Sep. 7, for the ribbon cutting and then will present the owners with a tribute award at the ceremony.
That evening will also be an “invitation only” show where dignitaries that helped to make the massive undertaking possible, have been invited for a private tour, hors d’oeuvres in The Study.
The evening will be capped off with a comedy show by the opening week’s comedians.

Seems to me that the people this establishment will need to keep their doors open on opening night, should stay at home for a week to let them know that politicians are not the clientele they will need to survive. An even better idea would be for folks to fly their FGW flags and signs to let the Gretch Witch know where she stands with voters. Another thing that comes to mind is whether these comedians will be allowed their First Amendment rights to be funny, however they see fit. If only woke comedy is allowed then I’ll not waste any money there ever.
I think you are right. Given the close support of the ruling class in MI, I’m guessing this will be the stand up version of the leftist late night shows. Hard pass!
