If you’ve recently seen a video circulating on social media, appearing to show a physical altercation and robbery involving several women in our city, the South Bend Police Department says they are on the case.
A report has been filed regarding this incident, and the case been transferred to the South Bend Police Major Crimes Unit.
They say the unit’s detectives are processing all evidence and actively working the investigation.
Anybody with information about the video or the apparent crimes shown are encouraged to call Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP to leave an anonymous tip.

It’s very likely that the subjects in the video can be identified , but no one will step up and say anything.
This community will complain about the lack of police support but will do nothing to help them.
Even if they are arrested, the prosecutor and judges will let them off easy. It’s a St. Joe County woke thing they do there.
