(95.3 MNC)

A 17-year-old traveling southbound on CR 133 in Elkhart was injured in a crash after she swerved to avoid hitting a rabbit.

Reports say she overcorrected after swerving east and ran off the west side of the road and sideswiped a tree.

Her vehicle sustained front-end damage and the driver suffered a minor forearm abrasion, but she refused medical treatment at the scene.

The rabbit was uninjured.
