The Notre Dame Fighting Irish won their first domestic away game yesterday after defeating the NC State Wolfpack, 45-24.

Quarterback Sam Hartman had an impressive performance throwing 15 – 24 with four touchdown passes.

This win improves Notre Dame’s record to 3 – 0 and will surely help bump the team up a few more positions from 10th, where they are currently nationally ranked.

The team returns home for their next two games.

Next Saturday will feature the Central Michigan Chippewas, then the team’s biggest test of the season arrives at South Bend in the form of the 5th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes the following Saturday.
