NFL accuses NFL Players Association of advising to fake injuries

The NFL has accused the NFL Players Association of advising running backs to pretend or exaggerate injuries to improve their bargaining power during contract negotiations.
The NFL filed a grievance on September 11, and an arbitrator will review the case.
The league claimed that the union made this suggestion to running backs during a pre-season Zoom meeting and communicated it to its management council executive committee.
Colts’ running back Jonathan Taylor is currently in a contract dispute. He was placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of the season since he is recovering from offseason ankle surgery.
