State Representatives from South Bend are looking for college students and recent college graduates to apply for internships with the Indiana House Democratic Caucus.

There are internship possibilities in areas like constituent services, fiscal analysis, graphic and print design, the state’s Black Legislative Caucus, media relations, and more. State Rep. Maureen Bauer of South Bend says “interns have the chance to get a behind the scenes look at how policy is made in Indiana, and help elected officials along the way.”

Interns receive a weekly stipend of $900 and possibly earn academic credit. Internships are full-time at 37.5 hours per week.

State House Democrats are at Wednesday’s IUSB Fall Career and Internship Fair. Applications are accepted through October 31.
