County Road Association releases list of best roads to travel on for fall colors

A list of the best roads to travel down in the fall has been released for southwest Michigan. 

The County Road Association of Michigan worked with the state’s 83 county road agencies to create a list of the best county roads when it comes to color.

In southwest Michigan, it says the best roads to drive down if you’re looking for fall colors include Blue Star Highway along Lake Michigan from Van Buren County to Berrien County, as well as Red Arrow Highway from Stevensville to New Buffalo and Madron Lake Road in Buchanan.

They say the peak viewing conditions for West Michigan are expected to be from October 9 through October 23, so there is plenty of time to take a drive.
