Elkhart man dead after police chase on SR 120

An Elkhart man died when a police chase on State Road 120 ended with a crash.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, at State Road 120 and County Road 1100 East, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the pursuit started in Branch County, Michigan then crossed the stateline to Indiana.
The collision occurred when the driver, Anthony Grant, 30, reportedly blew through the stop sign with S.R. 120 and was hit by a semi.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
