Goshen woman arrested after leading police on pursuit

A Goshen woman who led police on a pursuit ended up in the Elkhart County Jail. Officers tried to conduct a traffic stop, just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, at the intersection of Lincolnway East and Madison Street.

Instead of stopping, they say Nicole Beard, 23, took off, but was arrested after the brief chase.

She was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.
