Hammond man who pled guilty for role in Jan. 6 insurrection now out of prison

A Hammond man who pled guilty to his role in the events of the January 6th insurrection on the U.S. Capitol is now out of prison.
Upon his release, Kash Kelly posted photos of himself on social media and shared a short video message. He announced that he was free and that he’d be seeing everyone very soon.
Kelly was charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority.
He was sentenced to 60 days behind bars and $500 in restitution.
