Tax season is quickly approaching, and you may be eligible for free assistance with filing.

Indiana 211 has partnered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program to provide free assistance to those who make $60,000 or less each year, people with disabilities, the elderly and those with limited English.

Volunteers are IRS-certified and will provide free basic income tax return preparation. You can start filing at the end of January and must file your taxes by April 15.

To find a location offering assistance, visit the Indiana 211 website.
