South Bend School Board votes on future of Clay High School building

(Tommie Lee/MNC)
The South Bend School board has voted to allow the corporation to find a new use for the soon-to-be closed Clay High School building.
ABC 57 News reports the split vote will prevent the building from being purchased for one dollar by a private school an Indiana Law that requires public schools to give up unused buildings.
At least one charter school has expressed interest in purchasing the building.
