St. Joseph County leaders consult with experts about ‘County-City Building’ in South Bend

(Spencer Marsh/95.3 MNC)
Here’s more information after St. Joseph County leaders consulted experts about what to do with the “County-City Building” in South Bend.
They’re exploring options because the building needs significant improvements. One major issue is that demolishing the building isn’t viable because it would disrupt nearby courthouses, potentially forcing them to close.
However, there’s a plan in motion to relocate city offices from the County-City Building to the current South Bend schools’ headquarters by 2025.

So what will the current building be used for if it can’t be torn down?

South Bend and St Joe County politicians have been as corrupt and incompetent as their counterparts in Haiti. How old is the Parliament building in London or the Administration building at Notre Dame? Did Trina Robinson have the maintenance contract all this time?
