Here’s an update with the Indiana unemployment report for February.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says last month the rate was at 3.5%.
The national average was 3.9%.
In terms of the labor force participation rate, Indiana was above the national average at 62.8%, compared to 62.5%. This shows the percentage of people of working age looking for a job.
Areas with job increases were private education and health services, manufacturing, and leisure and hospitality.
